People with alcoholic liver disease (cirrhosis) commonly develop man boobs because their liver can no longer do its job of breaking down estrogens as effectively.

Methylation is where a methyl group is added to estrogen, so it can be easily excreted.
You can increase your liver’s supply of methyl groups by eating foods that are rich in vitamin B6 (e.g. turkey breast, grass-fed beef, pistachios, tuna), vitamin B12 (e.g. sardines, Atlantic mackerel, lamb, wild salmon), and folic acid (e.g. dark greens like spinach, asparagus, cos or romaine lettuce).

Sulfation is where sulfur groups are added to estrogen to prepare it for easy excretion.
