3 Common Toothpaste Ingredients You Should Avoid

Like using soap, shampoo and deodorant, brushing your teeth is an everyday activity. We do it without thinking about it.

But when you learn what they put inside toothpaste, you might just agree that it’s hard to devise a more dangerous cocktail of chemicals to use in your mouth, 2-3 times a day, every day.

You might think I'm overreacting if I tell you that the toothpaste you are using can be instructing your body to hold on to your man boobs. After all, we don't swallow it, and we spit it out right after we have finished brushing. But did you know this…

There are many drugs that are delivered in the mouth under the tongue. It’s known as the “sublingual” route. There’s also the “buccal” route, where the drug is placed between the gums and cheek. Both of these common routes of drug administration are almost as potent as the intravenous route where the drug is injected directly into your blood.

Drugs that are not effective when swallowed as a tablet, DO become effective when given sublingually by placing under the tongue.

Like with the skin, drugs and chemicals that enter your blood via the sublingual and buccal routes, avoid metabolism and deactivation by the liver. This makes these routes much more potent than the oral route of eating food or swallowing pills.

The bottom line here is that the sublingual and buccal routes of drug administration are more effective at getting drugs and chemicals into your system than the oral route of swallowing pills.

Keep THAT in mind the next time you’re swirling chemical-laden toothpaste inside your mouth.

And it gets worse.

We know that many chemicals enter your blood when they come into contact with your skin. A study published in the Journal of Investigative Dermatology suggests that the buccal mucosa is up to 4,000 times more permeable than the skin! And it’s known that the sublingual mucosa is far more permeable than even the buccal mucosa.

So while your skin acts as a barrier and protectant against most harmful chemicals in your environment, the mucosa in your mouth is designed to be super-absorbent of the chemicals that go inside your mouth.

This is not too surprising, since we are designed by nature to be very careful about what we put inside our mouths.

So what do we have to watch out for in toothpaste?

The vast majority of popular toothpaste brands not only contain MULTIPLE testosterone-killing and estrogenic chemicals, they also contain toxins that result in brain damage, lowered IQ, dementia, lethargy, skeletal fluorosis, bone fractures, increased cancer cell growth, weakened immune system, muscle disorders… the list just goes on and on.

In this email, I’ll highlight three of the most common harmful chemicals found in popular toothpaste brands like Colgate, Crest, Sensodyne Pronamel, Toms of Maine and Ultra Bright.

Harmful Chemical #1: Sodium Fluoride

(Used in Colgate, Crest, Sensodyne Pronamel, Ultra Bright)

Over 95% of the toothpaste sold in the U.S. now contains fluoride.

Fluoride has been linked to ALL of the conditions I just mentioned above, and more. In the context of losing man boobs, fluoride directly inhibits the production of testosterone in the testes. It also reduces fertility by immobilizing sperm.

Studies have shown that men who live in areas with high concentrations of fluoride in their drinking water, have lower testosterone levels and higher rates of infertility than men who live in lower fluoride areas.

So if you want to lose your man boobs, make sure you only ever use fluoride-FREE toothpaste.

Harmful Chemical #2: Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS)

(Used in Colgate, Crest, Toms of Maine, Ultra Bright)

SLS is an inexpensive detergent and foaming agent that is added to pretty much every conventional soap, shampoo and toothpaste. It is known to easily penetrate the skin and oral mucosa.

The foaming caused by SLS in toothpaste gives you the ILLUSION that the toothpaste is working better. But in truth, foaming plays little or no role in the act of cleaning your teeth, skin or hair.

The trouble with all that joyful foam, is that the SLS used to create it, is usually contaminated with known carcinogens. SLS itself is also a known skin irritant.

More importantly for us guys who are prone to developing man boobs, the common SLS contaminant, 1,4-dioxane, mimics estrogen when it enters the body. 1,4-dioxane has been linked to male infertility, breast cancer, and a whole host of other health problems. If it mimics estrogen, then you can bet it also encourages the growth of man boobs.

Harmful Chemical #3: PEG-8 & PEG-12 (Polyethylene Glycol)

(Used in Sensodyne Pronamel, Ultra Bright)

Polyethylene Glycol (PEG) is used in toothpaste as a humectant and thickener.

Here's what the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health has to say about PEG:

“Ethylene glycol is chemically broken down in the body into toxic compounds. It and its toxic byproducts first affect the central nervous system (CNS), then the heart, and finally the kidneys. Ingestion of sufficient amounts can be fatal.”

Another problem with PEG, is that while being manufactured, 1,4 dioxane is released as a byproduct. As I mentioned earlier, 1,4 dioxane is an estrogen mimicker.

Harmful Chemical #4: Carrageenan

(Used in Toms of Maine)

There wasn't supposed to be a 4th one, but I had to throw this one in because it's so easy to get mislead by it.

Carrageenan is used as a thickener.

This is a very deceptive one that is used even in many organic foods and toothpastes. Carrageenan is considered “healthy” by many because it comes from seaweed and is natural. But not everything natural is safe and good for us – the liver of a puffer fish is 100% natural, yet it's one of the most poisonous and deadliest things you can eat.

The problem with carrageenan is that it is a powerful inflammatory agent. Inflammation in the body has been linked to countless different diseases, including heart disease, inflammatory bowel disease, cancer and Alzheimer’s.

When it comes to losing man boobs, inflammation also leads to weight gain and reduced testosterone levels. Reducing inflammation is a very important aspect of natural male breast reduction, so this ingredient is one to definitely be avoided. Look for it not only in toothpaste, but also in so-called “health” foods.

5 Natural Toothpaste Alternatives

So, seeing as all of the popular toothpastes that billions of people use every day are packed with toxic ingredients that can make us sick and make it tough to get rid of man boobs, how do we go about avoiding them?

We certainly can’t stop brushing. Not only would you lose your teeth if you did, but the inflammation that occurs from gum disease is known to increase whole body inflammation and has been linked to low testosterone and erectile dysfunction.

So we need to find some healthy alternatives to using regular toxic toothpaste and mouthwashes.

In my program, How To Lose Man Boobs Naturally, on pages 54 to 61, I describe 7 natural toothpaste alternatives that you can start using today.

Not only are these 7 alternatives perfectly healthy and free of man-boob-causing estrogenic and anti-testosterone chemicals, they also clean your teeth better than any of the popular toothpastes I mentioned above.

One of these (#2) is known from animal studies, to help you lose weight (yes, an oral hygiene product that helps with weight loss!).

#4 is very likely to help with weight loss, and is known to help cure a number of systemic diseases, including diabetes, heart disease, migraine headaches, and respiratory and liver disease.

#1 while cleaning your teeth and gums, also helps produce more nitric oxide from the nitrates in your food. Nitric oxide dilates your blood vessels down below and helps skyrocket your sex life.

So before you brush your teeth a single more time with toxic chemical-laden toothpaste, get yourself a copy of How To Lose Man Boobs Naturally and discover these natural, inexpensive alternatives that are not only safe, but can also help you to lose weight and lose your man boobs.

At the same time, these alternatives will give you better oral hygiene, and eliminate bad breath better than any of the most popular toothpaste brands, AND give you shinier, whiter teeth.

  1. A few months back, Mr. Davidson had a guest contributor who espoused a weight loss strategy involving bulk garcinia cambogia powder and Apple Cider Vinegar. I thought I had all of your publications saved but I cannot seem to find that piece. If one of your staff can call that up and email it to me, I would sincerely appreciate it.

    • Hey John.

Apple Cider Vinegar can help with weight loss and hormone balance, but I don’t know any benefits that Garcinia Cambogia would have in helping you to lose your man boobs, or to lose weight. Pretty sure I didn’t publish a guest post where Garcinia Cambogia was promoted, maybe you saw it somewhere else?

  2. You missed a really big one, the desensitizing agent in Sensodyne is Potassium Nitrate, AKA saltpeter. Can cause impotence in men in small doses and renal damage in larger doses. There are other effects as well.

    • Nice one Steve, thanks for letting us know.

Everything out there just seems to be reducing male fertility and masculinity in general. I wouldn’t blame anyone for having a conspiracy theory that someone out there is wiping out masculinity in order to keep us human in check.

But who’s got time for conspiracy theories eh?
