Chemicals Are Everywhere And Man Boobs Are On The Rise. You’ll Never Avoid Them All, But Can You Fight Back?

My girlfriend today was just telling me how she keeps hearing of so many women among friends and extended family being diagnosed with breast cancer.

I told her it's because of all the estrogen women are being exposed to today.

Rates of breast cancer are soaring in women.

The statistic we DON'T hear about so much, is that rates of gynecomastia in men are going up too for the same reason–us being exposed to too much estrogen.

I recently read an article about how there's a rising incidence today of childhood asthma, obesity, Type 2 diabetes, leukemia, autism, learning difficulties, brain tumors, genital malformation in boys, early puberty in girls and testicular cancer in young men.

Since there is such a SUDDEN surge in these conditions over the last couple decades, experts are suspecting environmental chemicals as being a possible cause–the likes found in plastics, food additives, insecticides, herbicides, building materials, fire retardants, personal care products, synthetic fabrics, dyes, paint strippers, medications, detergents, cleaning agents, cookware, adhesives and packaging materials

There are hundreds of thousands of man-made chemicals in the environment, and hundreds of these have been shown to be present in human blood, many of which have been shown to have toxic effects.

The estrogenic chemical, Bisphenol A (BPA) for example, has been detected in over 90% of people in the USA.

BPA not only feminizes your body by stimulating receptors of the female hormone estrogen, it also blocks receptors of the male hormone testosterone, and inhibits the action of thyroid hormones, which are the main metabolism boosting hormones in your body.

Man, no wonder so many guys have got man boobs and they're so hard to get rid of!

In my program, How To Lose Man Boobs Naturally, I show you methods you can use to avoid exposure to environmental chemicals like BPA. Avoiding environmental chemical exposure is an important first step to losing your man boobs.

The scary thing however, is that you can never avoid it all.

8 million tonnes of plastic are dumped in the ocean every year and it has contaminated the remotest corners of the Earth.

So no matter how hard you try, there will always be some level of estrogenic chemicals floating around in your blood.

This is the price we pay for being born in the modern day.

But that doesn't mean you stop trying.

If you've got man boobs because of high levels of estrogenic chemicals in your body, you may not be able to eliminate those chemicals COMPLETELY, but you CAN help get rid of your man boobs by reducing the levels of these chemicals as much as you can.

And thankfully, avoiding chemicals isn't the ONLY thing we can do…

Time To Fight Back

Avoiding chemicals is like DEFENDING in a boxing match. If all you do is defend, you'll never win. At some point you have to take to the offensive and fight back.

You can deal a huge blow to estrogen by supplementing with its main antagonizing hormones, testosterone and progesterone.

Though testosterone therapy can be helpful, excess testosterone can lead to a whole bunch of different problems, including the very problem you want to eliminate – gynecomastia.

See, it's common for bodybuilders who take steroids in the form of testosterone, to end up with gynecomastia, because excess testosterone is converted to estrogen in your body by the enzyme aromatase.

So I would only ever suggest using testosterone therapy under the close supervision of a doctor who specializes in hormone therapy.

The other option is progesterone therapy, which you can do by yourself at home, because natural bio-identical progesterone is perfectly safe in high doses.

Just like testosterone, progesterone directly antagonizes the effects of estrogen.

In the words of leading progesterone expert, Dr Ray Peat, “progesterone is probably the most perfect antiestrogenic hormone”.

Studies show that progesterone reduces estrogen receptor expression. Progesterone also helps boost the conversion of estrogen from its more potent form, estradiol, to the less potent estrone. Progesterone also inhibits estrogen on a molecular level.

One way high estrogen levels in men lead to gynecomastia, is it causes cell proliferation, thereby increasing breast density. Progesterone is known to REDUCE breast density, not just by inhibiting estrogen, but also by inhibiting other growth factors, including IGF, nitric oxide, vascular endothelial growth factor, bcl-2 (a protein that inhibits programmed cell destruction), polyamines, and prostaglandins.

Progesterone is the perfect defense against all the BPA and likely dozens of other estrogenic chemicals floating around in your blood.

I recently listened to a lecture by hormone expert, Dr John Lee, where he said that we in the industrial world, ALL have high estrogen levels and low progesterone levels.

So though I always recommend you get your hormone levels TESTED before you undergo any form of hormonal treatment, if you've got man boobs, you're having difficulty losing weight, or suffer from one or more of the multitudes of other symptoms caused by estrogen dominance (reduced libido, erectile dysfunction, fatigue, low mood, type II diabetes, and others), and you are dead-set against getting your hormone levels tested (because hormone tests are expensive, you're embarrassed, you're afraid of what the results might show, you just can't be bothered or whatever other reason), seeing as a good natural progesterone cream has no dangerous or long-term side-effects even at an ultra-high dose, it doesn't hurt to TRY a low-dose natural progesterone cream that's designed for use by men.

One cream that I've tried myself and I recommend to my clients, is Hewis & Selby's ProgesterAid for men. It's from a company I trust, and their formulation was devised by a scientist who worked closely with the late leading progesterone expert, Dr John Lee.

You can get this cream here:

(Or just search “Hewis progesterone” on eBay.com)

In the near future, I will write a post explaining why this particular progesterone cream is the best one to use if you're a guy and you've got man boobs.

But regardless of what I tell you, the only way you'll know if progesterone will work for you, is if you get your hands on a bottle, give it a try, and see how you get on.

Progesterone is something I recommend you try for at least 3 months before deciding whether or not it works for you.

So give this cream a try and let us know how you get on in the comments section below.
