I’m loving my new flat.
It’s in a sort of enclosed community that’s privately owned and well looked after.
Every morning there are these guys constantly cleaning the place.
They look after the lawn, get rid of weeds, polish the surfaces.
There’s no chance of there ever being mice here.
I had the occasional mouse visit my old place just a couple months ago, and it’s not nice. I’m sure these new-build flats at my new place are built to keep mice out.
One small problem though, is these youngsters love to come hang around here in the evenings.
They come with their hired fancy cars, and sit around the benches, smoking and chatting late into the night. It disturbs my sleep some times and it pisses me off.
Thankfully though, they don’t cause any other sort of trouble.
Now these guys are often sat there smoking weed.
There’s a lot of info out there online saying smoking weed (aka cannabis, marijuana, skunk) causes man boobs. But there’s no conclusive evidence to say that it does.
I’m no expert on cannabis, but I have heard of people singing its praises for its medicinal benefits.
If you have a particular medical condition you feel cannabis can help you with, then I suggest you research it thoroughly and find a legal way to use it.
But don’t use it for recreational purposes.
Cannabis, especially in the form of “skunk”, can mess with your head.
Cannabis aside, what I want to talk to you about today is cigarette smoking.
My new next door neighbor is always wearing the same red gown and she’s ALWAYS smoking a cigarette. I don’t think I’ve ever seen her without a cigarette in her hand.
I recently learned that the guy living above me smokes as well.
I’m gona be honest with you.
I Absolutely Hate Smoking
I think it’s disgusting.
If anyone ever dared smoke in my house I’d tell them to fuck off.
I remember this guy who gives dating advice, once saying that you should carry a fancy lighter around in case a hot girl asked you for one. You could take out your fancy lighter with its blue flame and it would be a topic of conversation.
But I always thought to myself… why the heck would I want to date a girl who smokes?
I’m glad smoking is being banned in enclosed public places starting this month in the States, and I wish it would be banned outdoors and at home as well!
Why do I hate smoking so much?
Because it kills. It really fucks you up. It messes up your lungs, it messes up your stomach, and most of all it messes up the blood supply to your heart.
If you don’t smoke, don’t ever start.
If you are a smoker, then drop that shit, it won’t just kill you, it’s disgusting as well.
Another thing that really pisses me off about smoking, is the fact that…
Smoking Actually Raises Testosterone Levels!
Yeh, how fucked up is that?
In 2016, researchers in the School of Public Health in the University of Hong Kong, looked at 22 observational studies on cigarette smoking and testosterone levels in men1.
They concluded that “In 22 studies of 13,317 men, mean age 18-61 years, smokers had higher mean testosterone than non-smokers”.
The proposed mechanism here is that nicotine may prevent the removal of testosterone from your body, causing testosterone levels to build up.
Not only that, but…
Smoking Can Help You Lose Weight Too
Nicotine can help you lose weight via multiple mechanisms: it’s an appetite suppressant, it boosts your metabolism, and it’s a feel-good replacement for eating donuts.
So Does This Mean That You Should Take Up Cigarette Smoking To Help You Lose Your Man Boobs?
The answer is a big, resounding, NO.
I’m not being biased here.
I’m not telling you to avoid or quit smoking because I think smoking is disgusting.
OK, maybe I am for that reason a little bit.
But the main reason I don’t want you to take up smoking is because there are other, more powerful ways to boost testosterone and lose weight.
The big difference here is that these other methods also boost your health and longevity, while with cigarette smoking, if you don’t end up with lung cancer, stomach cancer, or heart disease, you definitely WILL develop reduced exercise tolerance because of impaired heart and lung function.
The Mechanism Via Which Cigarette Smoking Boosts Testosterone Is Totally Messed Up
Sure, it boosts testosterone levels by preventing its removal, but smoking also causes destruction of testicular cells2, smokers have reduced testosterone production3, and smokers have higher rates of testicular cancer4.
Seeing as testosterone is produced by your testes, is it wise to boost testosterone with something that damages your testes and impairs testosterone production?
With cigarette smoking, testosterone production goes down, but levels build up because less testosterone LEAVES your body.
Maybe that’s why there are MIXED reports on testosterone levels in smokers vs. non-smokers, with some studies suggesting smokers have LOWER testosterone levels than non-smokers5.
Also, testosterone levels on its own means jack-all…
…If you want to lose man boobs, the most important thing to look at is the estrogen to testosterone RATIO, meaning your testosterone levels have to be higher in comparison to estrogen.
There’s no use in elevating testosterone if your estrogen levels go up too, and that’s exactly what happens with cigarette smoking.
Studies show that not just estrogen levels, but also levels of the man boob growing hormone, prolactin, are higher in smokers than in non-smokers6.
Plus there’s also the fact that…
The Legendary Vince Gironda Said “Don’t Smoke!”
In his book, Unleashing The Wild Physique, Vince Gironda said:
“And finally, don’t smoke! It interferes with gaining weight [i.e. gaining muscle] as it destroys your appetite by raising the blood-sugar level. It also shrinks the capillaries and interferes with muscle growth.”
You know how smoking causes heart attacks? It clogs up the capillaries that supply your heart. When it comes to muscle growth, Vince Gironda reminds us that smoking also clogs up the capillaries that supply your muscles.
What About Nicotine Gum, Patches, And E-Cigs?
Nicotine alone may be safer than nicotine combined with tobacco in cigarettes, but nicotine on its own comes with its fare share of problems.
Not only is nicotine highly addictive, it also has adverse effects on the heart, lung, kidney, and other organs. It also causes cancer of the gastrointestinal tract, lung, pancreas, and breast7.
You know how everyone in the health world is going on about how “antioxidants” are so good for you? It’s true, antioxidants are VERY good for you. One way an antioxidant like turmeric helps raise testosterone levels, is by protecting your testes from oxidative damage.
Nicotine is the OPPOSITE of an antioxidant.
It causes oxidative damage. So while on one hand it raises testosterone by preventing its removal from your body, it also damages your testes (and other tissues) through oxidative damage and reduces testosterone production8. That can’t be good for you in the long-run.
And don’t think you can get away with smoking those cool-seeming e-cigs either.
Whoever told you e-cigs were safe, was lying.
Studies show that e-liquid with or without nicotine, leads to reduced testosterone production by the testes, and diminished sperm density and viability9.
Smoking is a disgusting habit.
There’s nothing “cool” about smoking a cigarette. E-cigs are even LESS cool, because you’re just IMITATING something that isn’t cool.
Also, smoking and nicotine damage your health, reduce your lifespan, and mess up your testosterone production.
Even if nicotine does raise your testosterone levels by reducing testosterone removal, it also raises estrogen levels, so the elevated testosterone is of no use.
Quit that shit and find a better way to boost testosterone and lose your man boobs.
But you might argue that smoking is an easy way to lose weight compared to dieting or going to the gym.
While that’s true, there are other…
EASY Methods That Work Way Better Than Smoking
Taking a turmeric supplement for example, is both easier, and cheaper than smoking.
Turmeric not only blocks estrogen on a cellular level, it also protects your testes from damage by chemicals like nicotine and the myriad other chemicals we are exposed to in the modern world.
Unlike smoking, turmeric doesn’t give you cancer or reduce your lifespan. Instead, study after study shows how turmeric PROTECTS your body against cancer, helps cure cancer after it develops, and boosts your lifespan.
Smoking gives you heart disease. Turmeric prevents heart disease.
Smoking decreases exercise tolerance. Turmeric boosts exercise tolerance and speeds up recovery after exercise.
I can go on and on about why it’s 100x better to lose weight and lose man boobs using a healthy natural approach like turmeric, than it is to lose weight and falsely boost testosterone levels by smoking cigarettes.
But I think you get the picture.
If you ARE already smoking, then quit it right now (I hear hypnotherapy is very effective).
While you are working on quitting, start taking some turmeric pills right away. Turmeric will help reverse some of the damage you’ve done to your testes by smoking, and will also help prevent the weight gain a lot of people experience when they quit smoking.
If you haven’t started smoking, then please don’t ever take it up. There’s no need to sacrifice your health to lose weight or lose man boobs. Natural methods like turmeric and the methods I show you in my program, will help you lose more weight than smoking will, will help you lose your man boobs where smoking won’t, and will boost your health and longevity while you’re at it.
