More Important Than Exercise When It Comes To Losing Man Boobs

It's great how exercises like HIIT and lower body weight training can boost testosterone levels after a workout. However, of all the studies conducted, the longest time your testosterone can stay elevated after a workout, is around 30 minutes.

Many exercise scientists believe this temporary boost in testosterone plays a huge role in helping to restructure your body by burning fat and growing muscle. However, wouldn't it be a lot better to have your testosterone levels elevated throughout the whole day AND during the night?

Well that's exactly what the right DIET will do for you. Whether you want to lose weight, grow muscle, or lose man boobs, diet is far more important than exercise.

The great Vince Gironda, considered a fitness legend, had various different theories about diet and exercise physiology that were way beyond his time. Back in the 1950s, this guy had such a ripped physique, that the bodybuilding judges of his time didn't know what to make of it.

They thought his body was freakish, and didn't realize that his results were just more advanced than anything the world had ever seen. Today, you only see Gironda's type of physique in guys who use anabolic steroids. Steroids weren't around in Gironda's time.

So why am I telling you about Gironda? Well this guy was a personal trainer for over 50 years. He had a reputation for getting people ripped and muscular in a notoriously short span of time. He had some odd theories that his rivals used to laugh at, but the latest science today, is showing that almost all of his theories were correct. Here's a statement Vince made about diet:

“Body sculpting is 85% diet…if you don't have your diet down first, the rest is moot.”

…Vince Gironda

And you know what? After my own experience, and from what I've seen in my clients, I believe Vince was right.

See, there was a time when I was exercising like crazy for around 8 months. I was cycling for over 2 hours every morning, 7 days a week, doing weight-training 3 days a week, and on my non-weight training days, I was doing Brazillian Jiu Jitsu (which gives you the most brutal workout you can imagine) for 2 hours, 4 days a week. Despite all this exercise, all I lost was a few pounds of weight in the first few weeks. At the end of 8 months, I was still the same fat chubby tub of lard as when I started out (yeh, I used to hate myself).

It was only when I read about Gironda and his advice about diet, that I decided to STOP EXERCISING altogether, and focus on my diet.

When I fixed my diet, my body started to quickly shed those pounds, and my chest started to flatten out, and this while doing no exercise whatsoever!

The mistake most guys make when they live a busy life and don't have the time and energy to both exercise AND take care of what they eat, is they eat whatever the hell they like, in order to reward themselves for working out so hard. But 9 guys out of 10 find this method doesn't work, because no amount of exercise can make up for a bad diet.

Most guys would benefit tremendously if they did things the other way round. If you are too busy to both exercise AND eat healthy at the same time, try dropping exercise and looking after what you eat instead.

Good food is far more important than exercise.

Exercise depletes your body of key vitamins and minerals that are needed to keep you healthy. Food replenishes them. When you both exercise AND eat bad food, you deprive yourself of energy, weaken your immune system, leave your body open to disease, and create a chemical and hormonal state that makes it notoriously difficult to lose weight or to lose man boobs.

Now Gironda also gave advice on HOW to diet, and WHAT you should be eating to lose body fat and get trim. The latest studies show that he was right in this area as well.

I'll get more into detail about Vince's dietary methods for reducing body fat at a later date. For now, cut out the junk food, cut out the chemical-laden processed food, and reduce your carb and sugar intake. Stick to natural whole-foods – plenty of vegetables, meat, fish, eggs, nuts, and seeds.
