I've had this thing back in the day where I was doing everything right.
I was doing whole body weight training.
I was doing HIIT.
I was eating low carb, high fat, and avoiding sugar, grains, and starches.
Though I lost SOME weight and my man boobs shrank quite a bit, I was still chubby with man boobs.
Despite avoiding all those sugary treats, avoiding rice, cookies, bread, and the like, I still wasn't getting a totally flat chest, nor was I getting a flat midsection.
I discovered that the problem was that I was eating TOO MUCH.
Now I know that I always say, it isn't about how MUCH you eat, it's about WHAT you eat.
This is still true, because WHAT you eat will help modulate how MUCH you eat.
When you eat sugar, grains, and starchy carbs, it messes with your body's hormones in a way that makes you want to eat more.
When you eat RIGHT however, the GOOD food you're now eating, change your hormones in a way that makes you want to eat LESS.
So you don't feel like you're depriving yourself, you're not trying to FORCE yourself to eat less.
You're focusing on eating the right TYPE of food, and the eating LESS part comes naturally.
But sometimes, we keep on eating too much because of habit.
I've found there are some people who, despite eating all the right types of food, are still eating TOO MUCH out of pure habit.
Eating too much of the right type of food can still make you fat, and being fat keeps you in an estrogenic state, which means your man boobs stay put.
So what do you do?
How do you overcome the issue of overeating when you've mastered eating the right TYPES of food?
The ideal thing to do in this case is intermittent fasting.
Intermittent fasting is a great way to TRAIN you to WANT less food.
Intermittent fasting helps adjust your hormones in a way that makes you want to eat less.
Intermittent fasting also gets rid of the HABIT of wanting to eat too much.
