Low intensity interval training (LIIT) is a great form of exercise to prepare you for HIIT.
To do HIIT, it’s important to first build an endurance base, where you can do the same exercise at a steady aerobic pace for 20 minutes.
If you are not very physically active, this can prove very difficult, in which case you can break up the 20 minute endurance workout into multiple shorter workouts separated by a rest interval.
